The music is all organized according to each choir and is listed under each choir in no evident order. The name of the song serves as a link to download the MP3 file, and below the link is a player so that you can listen to the song without downloading it.
All songs have been recorded using our new equipment we bought this year and edited using the open-source software known as Audacity; the Ambience reverb plugin was also used. All songs have been encoded to MP3 at a bitrate of 256 kbps, which is near-CD quality while still maintaining a relatively small file.
Kelly DeHaan, of course, was the teacher, conductor, and mentor behind all of these pieces of music.

Here are a few CD covers I made for you to characterize the album(s). If you would like to design a cover and submit it, feel free. Click on the image to see the full version; right click on that image and click “Save as…” (or something similar to that procedure) to save. To make it the album art (in Windows Media Player, at least), simply drag the image onto where the album art goes in the player.

Heaven On Their Minds Bobby Robertson –To the listener: This song is about a person who is looked down upon by most people for deeds he committed. This song’s purpose is not to minimize or take light of what the person did. It is the singer’s hope that the listener may hear this song and not be offended by who is portrayed and what the character is saying but rather hear a perspective of perhaps why he did what he did–the thoughts behind the actions, if you will.

The Dream Kelly DeHaan, words by Bobby Robertson; this song was written for the 2009 Madrigals but was never officially recorded. This audio is taken from someone’s camera as they filmed him sing the song for the first and last time. I would like to get him to record it officially; I’ll let you, Madrigals, know if this ever happens.
It Came Upon a Misty Morning Thomas White, vocals; Cody Crabb, accompanist
